Welcome to Aquafish Aquatics, where Performance is Produced through Passion.

Please note the following Term's and Conditions, which you will be agreeing to upon enrollment.
1. Assessments
* A free assessment is provided in order to place the participant in the correct class and ability level.
* An assessment may occur during a scheduled lesson, due to time constraints.
* Participants must arrive with their costume, goggles and cap( not essential).
2. Payment and Enrollment
* Aed 200 enrollment per term included in the package. Club cap included.
* Payment is paid per Term, and is paid upfront and in advance.
* Invoices are sent via email, so please supply us with a valid email address.
* Banking details are on the bottom of the invoice.
* Fees will be on a prorata basis if joining the club after a term has begun.
3. Credits
* Credits will only be issued if a coach cannot make a scheduled lesson.
* At Aquafish Aquatics, we like to lead by example, and some of our coaches are still active in competitive swimming. We would like to give them the opportunity to compete, and on occasion, a coach may be away at a competition. Credits will apply in such an event.
* No credits will be given for inclement weather or if a venue has to close for some reason whatsoever.
4. Missed lesson policy
* Consistency is key!
* Catch up or make up classes will only be given if space allows in another class.
* Unfortunately due to the cost of lane hire, a surcharge of 50% of the cost of the lesson will be charged for the catch up class.
* Catch up classes must be taken within 2 weeks of the missed lesson.
* No classes can be carried over to the next term.
* Only 2 catch up classes are allowed per term.
* Catch up classes will not be provided if the lesson has not been cancelled 24 hours in advance.
5. On Enrollment
* Participants are to arrive timeously for each class. 5 minutes before a class is the recommended amount of time.
* Appropriate swimming attire is to be worn at all times:
- Toddlers under the age of 3 years need to have a double nappy, with a swimming costume over it.
- Learn to swim participants require costumes, goggles ( if preferred) and Aquafish Aquatics cap.
- Squads require costumes, goggles, Aquafish Aquatics cap. Wet bag containing kicker board, pull buoy, fins, paddles and snorkel.
Aquafish Aquatics Head Coach will recommend the correct equipment for the participants at this level.
* A water bottle is a necessity for training. We recommend that an electrolyte be added if outside or during extreme heat.
* Learn to swim classes require a parent or care giver nearby in case of a child needing the cloakroom/washroom.
* No young children are to be left unattended. Siblings and children not swimming are not the responsibility of our coaches.
* No participant will be allowed to enter the pool until a coach has given them permission to do so.
* Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the end of a squad training session to collect your child. Coaches have other venues and clients to drive to, and therefore cannot afford to babysit children who are not picked up on time.
* Please inform your coach if a different person is collecting your child.
* No heavy meals are to be consumed for an hour and a half prior to swimming. Unfortunately inhaling or taking in water during a lesson, can cause a person to bring up a meal.
6. Class duration
* Learn to swim classes are 30 minutes.
* We believe and have experience, backed by scientific studies, that longer is not better. Better is better!
* Science has also shown that a child's concentration span is 2 to 3 times his/her age.

* Based on age, ability and experience, class durations will increase as the students progress through our stages.

- L1. Shrimp
- L2. Crab
- L3. Octopus
- L4. Fish
- L5. Dolphin
- L6. Shark
SQUADS:
* Foundation. 60 minutes
* Intermediate. 60 minutes
* Advanced. 60 - 90 minutes.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
* 1 : 1. 60 minutes.
7. Medical conditions
The health and safety of all our clients are of utmost importance to us.
Please supply us with all information relating to any and all medical conditions that any of our swimmers or clients may have. Our staff need to be informed in case of an emergency. This includes emergency contact details.
I hereby confirm that ( I am/ my Son is/ my daughter is) medically fit and acknowledge that it is my responsibility to report any ailments, medications, allergies, disabilities, etc, in advance of each lesson to Aquafish Aquatics. I explicitly agree to assume all risks of death or injury to (my/his/her) person and/or loss, or damage to any property of Aquafish Aquatics or any Parent, subsidiary, or affiliate company resulting directly or indirectly from ( my/his/her) participation.
It is my understanding and I further acknowledge that there exists the possibility of certain risks during exercise generally and specifically from this participation, including but not limited to: abnormal blood pressure, fainting, disorders of the heart, stroke or even death. I further understand and acknowledge that there also exists the possibility of certain injuries, including but not limited to: damage to muscles, bones, organs, tendons and joints of the body. While Aquafish Aquatics will endeavour to minimise such risks, I understand and acknowledge that in certain circumstances, such risks may still exist and notwithstanding such risks, I still consent to (my/his/her) participation.
I expressly release and discharge Aquafish Aquatics and it's owners, employees, agents, hired venues and assigns from any and all liabilities, claims, suits, demands or actions arising from or in connection with (my/his/her) participation in the swimming, strength and conditioning or summer camp programs. This release shall be binding on my heirs and executors (and those of my son /daughter).
I further agree that should (I/ my son/ my daughter) behave in any manner deemed by the organisers as disruptive or that could lead to (my/ his/her) injury or that of any other participant, the organisers are hereby authorised to expel ( me/him/her) from any further participation in any of the Aquafish Aquatics programs without refund.
Management at any hired venues will not be liable or responsible for any personal injury, accident or death, or any loss or damage to personal property or vehicles caused to or suffered by any visitors, participants, spectators or invitees attending any of the activities hosted by Aquafish Aquatics at any of their venues. All participants, spectators or invitees will be responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance in relation to the activities conducted.
8. Public Relations and Marketing
I hereby consent to, and grants Aquafish Aquatics the exclusive and unlimited rights to use and reproduce any and all photographs, videos, audio and visual recordings taken by Aquafish Aquatics that contain ( my / my son/ my daughter) image, voice or likeness for any lawful purpose whatsoever. Aquafish Aquatics has the right to use all these materials for public relations or marketing, via social media, corporate public relations, videos or online materials, written materials or broadcasting, either with or without the Participant's name or photo accompanying such quotation. I waive the right to inspect, approve, or edit any such use or reproduction. Aquafish Aquatics may make any and all changes, modifications, additions or deletions in it's use of reproductions without any approval.
9. Waiver
In consideration of (my/ my son/ my daughter), participation in any of these programs, I hereby waive and release Aquafish Aquatics and it's successors and assigns, from any and all claims, costs, liability and expense for any injury, loss or damage whether known, anticipated or unanticipated arising from ( my, my son's / my daughter's) participation and enrollment in the Program.

AQUAFISH AND IT'S STAFF HAVE THE RIGHTS TO AMEND/CHANGE/EDIT/UPDAT ALL/ANY OF THE INFORMATION IN THIS DOCUMENT.

I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE THOROUGHLY READ THIS FORM IN IT'S ENTIRETY AND FULLY UNDERSTAND IT. I UNDERSTAND THAT IT CONTAINS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND BY MAKING PAYMENT AND ACCEPTING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON DOING SO, I AM WAIVING CERTAIN RIGHTS THAT I OR MY SUCCESSORS MIGHT HAVE TO BRING A LEGAL ACTION OR ASSERT A CLAIM AGAINST AQUAFISH AQUATICS
